The refurbishment + remodelling of a 1970’s bungalow set within a private estate.
The original house was purpose built for the current owner from a Scandinavian timber frame kit.
The brief was to relocate the lounge + mastersuite to the first floor to make the most of the stunning views over the South Downs.
This required the existing roof + structure to be removed and a temporary ‘top hat’
(weathertight enclosure) to the house be in-place for the duration of the works.
These works are to be undertaken whilst in occupation and are scheduled for 2014.
