Conversion of a city centre grade II listed building to 100+ student flats and 6 shop units+ offices.
Appointed on behalf of a developer to prepare various feasibility studies +
conducted negotiations with the university of northumberland to obtain a detail
planning approval with the best use mix for the university + retail use to the ground floor.
This is a very complex series of buildings within a city centre context.
The buildings required detail structural assessment of the existing building fabric, rights to light + fire access/egress challenges.
The adjoining site to the rear is being re-developed as a shopping centre: Trinity Square
