Lord Onslow family tomb,

St. John’s Church, Merrow.

The adaption of the family tomb to provide an access chamber. lIsted building consent.

This sensitive project was undertaken with lengthy negotiation with the local Dioceses and  Arch Bishop.

Local master craftspersons were involved with the design development of the masonry and wrought iron work.

The adaptions to the tomb consist of the construction of a flint walled, lime stone burial pit with wrought iron balustrading and gates, to match the existing.

CAD modelling was used as part of the design development dialogue.
